Security

Client’s data is protected with state-of-the-art Secured Socket Layer (SSL) technology. Public/private key cryptography enables the creation of a secure “conversation” between your browser and our secure server. While this conversation could potentially be “overheard”, it can NOT be decrypted.

 

Fraud

All couriers depend on getting paid for their delivery work orders for their livelihood.  Using fraudulent means to place a delivery work order is under CA torts & laws considered malicious intent to defraud an innkeeper and theft if convicted which is punishable by one year in jail  and /  or a $500 fine per California Penal Codes 484, 488 and 490.   It is our policy to fully prosecute to the fullest extent of the law all fraud cases.

Miscellaneous
These Terms are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the CA and the state of CALIF without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. If any provision of these Terms shall be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from these Terms and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions. These Terms are effective unless and until terminated by UIC, Llc. dba San Diego Courier Messenger.

 

Limits of Liability: San Diego Courier Messenger shall not be liable for any loss, damage or delay, which is a result of an act of God, public enemy, authority of law, strikes, weather, act of any third person, or the inherent nature of shipment itself. Courier assumes liability for loss or damage to each shipment for up to max total of $75.00 USD, not including cost of transportation, at no additional charge. Courier does not guarantee delivery by a stipulated date or time, nor shall courier be liable for the consequences of failure to make a timely delivery
